सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा संचालित नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान (Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan – NMBA) के छह वर्ष पूर्ण होने के उपलक्ष्य में राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर विशेष कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया जा रहा है। इस अभियान की शुरुआत 15 अगस्त 2020 को राष्ट्रीय नशा मांग में कमी कार्य योजना (NAPDDR) के अंतर्गत की गई थी।

इस अभियान का मुख्य उद्देश्य युवाओं, महिलाओं एवं शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में नशे के दुष्प्रभावों के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाना तथा समाज को नशामुक्त बनाने के लिए जनभागीदारी को प्रोत्साहित करना है।

इस अवसर पर सभी विद्यालयों को विभिन्न जागरूकता गतिविधियाँ आयोजित करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। इसके अंतर्गत विद्यार्थियों एवं शिक्षकों को नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान की ई-प्रतिज्ञा दिलाना, नशे के दुष्प्रभावों पर जागरूकता एवं संवेदनशीलता कार्यक्रम आयोजित करना तथा राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर आयोजित होने वाले कार्यक्रम में ऑनलाइन सहभागिता सुनिश्चित करना शामिल है।

Subject: Celebration of six years of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) – reg.

The Department of Social Justice & Empowerment (DoSJE) is commemorating the completion of six years of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA), launched on 15th August, 2020, under the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR). The Abhiyaan aims to create awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse, particularly among youth, women and educational institutions.

A national level programme for the “Celebration of six years of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan” is going to be organised. The date and other details of the programme will be communicated separately in due course. The Concept Note for “Celebration of Six years of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan” programme is enclosed as Annexure-I for reference and necessary action.

In this regard, all the schools are requested to undertake the following activities as a part of nationwide mobilisation:

1. Administer the NMBA e-Pledge: All students, teachers may be encouraged to undertake the NMBA e-Pledge through the below link: Link: https://nashamukt.dosje.gov.in/epledge

2. Awareness and Sensitisation Activities: Undertake visible on-ground awareness and sensitisation activities.

3. Participation in National Programme: Ensure virtual participation of students, teachers and school staff in the National Programme. The date, time and participation details will be shared separately.

4. Appointment of Nodal Teacher: Each school may designate a nodal teacher to coordinate the NMBA- related activities and ensure their effective implementation and reporting.
