Subject: Central Board of Secondary Education and Central Vigilance Commission (CBSE-CVC) Poster Making Competition – reg.
The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), as the apex body responsible for preventing corruption and promoting integrity in public administration, has consistently implemented a multi- pronged strategy focusing on preventive and participative vigilance. Education, being a cornerstone of nation-building, plays a crucial role in instilling values in students, helping them develop into responsible, ethical, and committed citizens.
The Central Vigilance Commission and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) are collaborating to organize Poster Making Competition from 22.09.2026 to 01.10.2026 in schools affiliated to CBSE prior to Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 (VAW) from 26th October to 1st November, 2026.
In this regard, CBSE is organising a webinar on 25th September, 2026 at 11:30 AM to create awareness among students and encourage their wider participation.
The details are as follows:
Event: Poster Making Competition for students of Classes VIII–XII Topic: “सत्यमिष्ठा से समृद्धि” – “Probity for Prosperity”
Guidelines for Participation:
- 1. Schools shall conduct the competition at their level during school hours under the supervision of teachers, on any date between 22.09.2026 and 01.10.2026.
- 2. Eligibility: Students of classes VIII–XII.
- 3. Size: Size of poster should be A2 with Landscape orientation.
- 4. Medium: Hindi or English.
- 5. Plagiarism of any kind to attract immediate disqualification.
- 6. First level evaluation by school itself, with selection of three best entries. These three best entries will be uploaded by the school at the CBSE link. This link will be provided to schools on CBSE website ie. www.cbseacademic.nic.in on 25.09.2026.
NOTE- Each entry must clearly mention the following particulars as per Annexure A: Topic, Name of Student, Class, Father’s/Mother’s/Guardian’s name, Mobile Number, Email Address, School Name & Address, and School Contact Details.
Timeline:
22.09.2026 to 01.10.2026 | Conduct of the “Poster Making Competition” at the school level for students of classes VIII – XII. Evaluation at school level. |

| Uploading of entries on portal between 25.09.2026 and 01.10.2026 | Uploading of 03 best entries by the school in PDF, JPG or PNG format along with the details as at Annexure – A (by 5.00 PM till 1.10.2026 at the CBSE link). The link will be provided to schools on CBSE website ie. www.cbseacademic.nic.in on 25.09.2026 It will be available to schools for uploading the entries between 25.09.2026 and 1.10.2026 Size of the poster should be A2 with landscape orientation. The maximum limit of each entry shall be 2MB and shall be submitted only in PDF, JPG, or PNG format. Uploading of students participation details by school. |
Evaluation and Recognition:
- The three best entries at the school level may be suitably recognized by the school during Vigilance Awareness Week 2026. The school Principal/Head of School may also honor their selected students during Vigilance Awareness Week, 2026.
- The three best entries from each school must be uploaded on the CBSE portal between 25.09.2026 and 1.10.2026
- All entries received by CBSE will be further evaluated by a team of Art/Language experts. The CBSE will select best 25 entries (in order of merit) after due evaluation. Further, top ten entries selected at National level shall be honored during the Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 and all the best 25 entries would be part of exhibition during VAW 2026.
- The evaluation criteria is provided in Annexure B.
- Emphasis shall be placed on originality of ideas and intellectual honesty. Any form of plagiarism detected at any stage shall result in disqualification.
Decision of the evaluators selection of the entries shall be final and no communication shall be entertained in this regard.
