Special Postage Stamp on Kumbh Mela Released today
Union Minister of State for Railways and Communication Mr Manoj Sinha released a special postage stamp of the Indian Postal Department on Kumbh Mela, today. A special first day cover was also released on the occasion. Its cost is five rupees.
On this occasion Mr Sinha said Kumbh is a major event of not only of the country but the World. Mr Sinha also said Kumbh is not only a religious and spiritual event but an astrological, cultural and astronomical event of the world. He said Kumbh has been treated as source of light of Knowledge.

कुंभ मेले पर विशेष डाक टिकट को आज जारी किया गया
केंद्रीय रेल और संचार राज्य मंत्री श्री मनोज सिन्हा ने आज कुंभ मेले पर भारतीय डाक विभाग का एक विशेष डाक टिकट जारी किया। इस अवसर पर एक विशेष ‘फस्ट डे कवर’ भी जारी किया गया। इसका मूल्य पांच रुपये है। का
इस अवसर पर श्री सिन्हा ने कहा कि कुंभ मेला न सिर्फ भारत का बल्कि पूरी दुनिया का एक प्रमुख आयोजन है। श्री सिन्हा ने कहा कि कुंभ केवल एक धार्मिक और आध्यात्मिक ही नही है, बल्कि यह पूरे विश्व का एक ज्योतिषीय, सांस्कृतिक और खगोलीय आयोजन है। कुंभ को ज्ञान के स्रोत के रूप में भी देखा जाता है।
